Unfortunately, vicious trolls seem to enjoy taunting Hailey Baldwin about Selena Gomez's storied history with Justin Bieber.

Hailey and the Biebs are married, but this week, they went out in public and did not look like a happy couple.

A new report can explain the conflict and its all-too-familiar source. Is this the end of their nascent marriage?

On Wednesday, May 8, Justin Bieber and his wife, Hailey Baldwin, were spotted walking out and about in New York.

That's no real shock.

Justin has been in treatment for his mental health, and has reportedly been doing so in the Big Apple.

What people found shocking was that something seemed to be majorly off between the married couple.

In contrast to their PDA-filled walks around London, it looked like Justin was keeping his distance from his own wife. WTH?!

RadarOnline reports that this can all be explained, because Justin is currently distracted by thoughts of another woman: Selena Gomez.

"Justin and Selena are in contact from time to time," an insider, who is allegedly close to Selena, reports.

The source explains that this is "because they have both gone through really dark periods this past year."

Selena's health battle has been ongoing and brutal, and Justin has been fighting for his own mental wellbeing.

The insider adds that the two endured crises "at almost the same time."

According to the report, this alleged love triangle has spilled over into the public appearances that the stars choose to make.

"Selena avoided the Met gala," the source observes.

Meanwhile, Hailey showed up without Bieber.

The insider says that this is "because she thinks that Hailey is a phase that Justin is going through."

"And," the source grimly notes. "Hailey knows this."

That's a great reminder that, last year, Hailey attended with Shawn Mendes. This year, she attended as a married woman. Wild.

It was only about a month and a half ago when Justin Bieber admitted that he'll always love Selena.

"Justin recently said that he still loved Selena," the insider points out.

Apparently, this did not go over well on the marital front.

Hailey of course heard "and Hailey lost it," the reports claims.

It doesn't help that many considered Justin going back to Hailey a rebound after his rekindled romance with Selena fizzled out.

"Selena knows that Justin loves her," the source affirms.

Thankfully, there's some good news.

The insider continues: "but she has moved on with her life."

Those of us who didn't love seeing one of the world's most talented singers play babysitter to a talented by troubled young man can breathe a sigh of relief.

"And," the report notes, Selena "has started dating again."

RadarOnline also spoke to a "body language expert," which is a great career to take up since phrenology fell out of style.

The thing that makes body language experts so convincing is that they combine common sense with imagination to paint a compelling picture.

Based upon all of the sightings of the Biebs and Hailey, he did seem like he was lost in his own little world.

(We obviously don't have an issue with experts, but there are very specific "fields" of expertice that are given more credence than they deserve)

Now, we have to emphasize that nothing in this report -- nothing about Justin's issues being linked to Selena -- are confirmed.

If they are in touch, we're sure that Selena has zero desire to harm that marriage or to start things up with the Biebs again.

Selena Gomez has a massive social media following, even if she only uploads photos occassionally, usually for special events.

Social media has been very good to her, but she is the first to admit that her experience is not universal.

In fact, Selena says that social media can be intensely toxic to the young people who use it the most.

Selena Gomez spoke at the Cannes Film Festival, where she is promoting her new film, The Dead Don't Die.

She admits that she is "scared" of social media's effects on the youngest internet denizens.

"They're not aware of the news or anything going on," Selena said in the press conference.

"It's selfish -- I don't wanna say selfish because it feels rude," she quickly corrected. "But it's dangerous for sure."

While social media can help others connect with friends and others with whom they have a lot in common, it can hurt self esteem and enable bullying.

"I think our world is going through a lot, obviously," Selena added.

"But for my generation, specifically," she continued. "Social media has been terrible."

Millennials who were already adults or near-adults when Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram launched may feel differently.

Selena lamented that it is now "impossible" to guarantee that any social media is 100% safe for all users.

She noted that she tries to remain conscious of the younger members of her audience whenever she posts.

Selena explained that she always seeks to avoid putting pressure on teens and tweens with her photos and text posts.

Keep in mind that Selena, one of the most followed people on the planet, is not biting the hand that feeds her.

"I'm very grateful I have the platform in any way," Selena clarified.

"I can still share things I'm passionate about," she affirmed.

"I don't do a lot of pointless pictures," Selena noted.

She is referring to how many influencers share almost excessive photos to create more Content(TM) for Engagement(TM).

"I like to be intentional with it," she explained.

"I see these young girls," Selena described.

"I'll meet them," she continued. "And they're just devastated dealing with bullying and not being able to have their own voice."

In-person cruelty when you're young is bad enough. It shouldn't follow you when you're on your own home, using social media.

"It can be great in moments," Selena acknowledged.

"But," she said. "I would just be careful and allow yourself some time limits when you should use it and when not."

Selena has spoken on this important topic before.

"It is not that healthy to be on [social media] all the time," she observed.

Some people aren't impacted by bullying online, of course. Others use social media for work. But in general, we all need a break from time to time.

"I noticed with me," Selena cited. "I got kind of depressed looking at these people who look beautiful and amazing."

Selena, girl, you look beautiful and amazing!

"And it would just get me down a lot," Selena admitted.

"Taking breaks is really important," she affirmed.

"Just know that most of it isn't real," Selena advised her youngest fans of what they see on social media.

"And I hate to say that, I don't mean to be rude," Selena politely added. "But it's very unrealistic in a lot of ways."

That's true.

Fortunately, a lot of people -- even famous people -- have found ways to clap back at those who attack them online.

Earlier this month, we heard reports that Justin Bieber was ignoring his wife to chat with Selena Gomez.

We didn't want to believe it, for Hailey's sake -- or, frankly, for Selena's.

But a new report says that Hailey discovered that Justin was chatting with Selena behind her back. And she went ballistic.

According to RadarOnline, Hailey Baldwin "exploded" when she looked through her famous husband's cell phone.

"Justin is constantly talking about Selena," an insider reports.

Pro tip: Discussions of your ex -- especially your most serious ex -- can often be a sore subject around your new spouse.

"And Hailey is at her boiling point with all of this," the source expresses.

The discovery of their alleged communications, however, pushed things over the edge.

Apparently, Hailey was doing her level best to make peace with Justin's reported fixation on Selena.

"But" the insider claims. "When she caught Justin with Selena texts on his phone last week," that all changed.

"Hailey absolutely lost it," the source reports.

"And," the insider adds, Hailey even personally "reached out to Selena."

The source explains that she made this contentious contact. "to tell her to stay away from her man!"

Shockingly, the insider claims that Selena "laughed" at Hailey's attempt to set a boundary.

"Selena thinks all of this is just hilarious," the source reports.

The insider explains that Selena allegedly holds this opinion "because she knows that Justin will always love her."

"And," the source adds, Selena supposedly knows "that Hailey is disposable."

"The worst part," the insider opines. "Is that Hailey knows this too."

"There is truly nothing that Hailey can do to change how Justin feels," the source laments.

Other people's feelings are their own, and out of our control.

For that matter, some people can't even control their own feelings!

"He is talking to Selena again," the insider emphasizes.

"And," the source adds. "The two of them are on good terms."

It sounds like Jelena shippers, at the very least, don't think that Justin's marriage to a whole other person means much.

Not in the long run, anyway.

"Hailey is a small blip in his life," the insider cruelly characterizes.

"And," the source claims. "Everyone knows that it is just a matter of time before she is out of the picture."

Wow, that is cold.

But ... is it true?

At the risk of stealing Gossip Cop's schtick, this just doesn't add up to a true story.

We don't know what this alleged source heard or didn't hear.

Maybe Hailey is insecure in her marriage because of how quickly it happened and how unorthodox it was, at times.

But we cannot for the life of us imagine Selena Gomez cheerfully gloating over Hailey's misery.

For one thing, Selena is the one who ended things, and it's believed that she did so last time because she realized that Justin hadn't really changed.

Justin's indecision and personal issues don't mean that Selena feels the same way. We hope that Hailey knows that.

It's only Monday and we have been hit with a week's worth of drama, all thanks to Scooter Braun's new controversial business deal.

We're really trying to keep up with the mayhem, but it seems every time we turn around someone else is getting dragged into the fire. 

It all started this weekend when celebrity manager Scooter Braun acquired Taylor Swift's music catalog through a $300 million deal with Big Machine Records. 

Swift, who has six albums under the label, called the recent move her "worst case scenario" in an intense (yet fair) Tumblr post which she created after finding out the news -- at the same time as the rest of us! 

Naturally, the singer didn't hold back and continued ranting to her followers, calling out not only Braun for bullying her in the past, but Kim Kardashian, Justin Bieber, and Kanye West. 

It was bold. 

But not as bold as when Bieber decided to reply to Swift's lengthy rant on his own Instagram page ... creating a very public and very entertaining awkward situation. 

Tay hasn't replied to Justin directly, but she is still remaining active in all the drama as she continues to like fans' comments about him via her Tumblr page. 

And fans lost it after her most recent click, which totally insinuated that Bieber cheated on his ex and Swift's bestie Selena Gomez. 

Taylor has not confirmed these cheating rumors directly, but fans think that liking the comment was an indirect confirmation. 

The post read: 

"'We haven't gotten to communicate our difference.' You cheated on her best friend and then publicly sided with the man who made revenge porn against her, was she supposed to invite you over for tea???"

"F--k outta here," the post concluded. 

It still remains liked on her page after Twitter quickly picked up on Swift's subtle confirmation that there was an issue between Gomez and Bieber. 

The two dated on-again, off-again for years before they finally called it quits in March of 2018. 

Bieber is now married to Hailey Baldwin, who also took a chance to stick up for her man on his recent Instagram post, writing "Gentleman."

But Cara Delevingne, who is a part of Taylor's fierce girl squad, caught glimpse of her comment and wasn't having it. 

"Gentleman?" she said tagging both Hailey and Justin. "You must be bored."

She then went on to address the situation stating that Justin's message was far from an apology and that they should be lifting women up and not tearing them down. 

"As a married man, you should be lifting women up instead of tearing them down because you are threatened."

"I am not sure you actually understand what an apology is," she continued. 

"As you said, you haven't spoken to her in years which means you definitely don't understand the situation. I do."

"Take a step back and learn from this. We should all be on the same team," she concluded.

Cara hasn't been the only one to publicly side with Taylor though.

Many other celebrities including Halsey and Victoria Secret model Martha Hunt are standing up for the "ME!" singer. 

As well as all of her Swifties, of course. 

Selena has yet to comment on her friend's situation, as well as the cheating rumors which Swift brought about by just one simple click. 

Will Bieber take to his social media accounts yet again? This time to address his possible past of infidelity?

Back in 2017, Selena Gomez underwent a life-saving kidney transplant.

The donor was her longtime friend Francia Raisa, who risked her life in a procedure riddled with complications.

Thankfully, both Gomez and Raisa survived the procedure.

Their friendship, on the other hand, has officially been pronounced dead.

According to a new report from Radar Online, Selena and Francia have not spoken in over nine months.

“They haven’t talked at all since October,” a source close to the situation tells Radar.

The news comes as a shock to many, as Selena repeatedly sang Francia's praises in the weeks after her surgery.

“She gave me the ultimate gift and sacrifice by donating her kidney to me,” Gomez told Elle at the time.

“I am incredibly blessed.”

Selena tells the magazine she was so frail at one point that she was completely unable to perform the simplest of household tasks.

“I couldn’t pick up my dog  — he’s 16 pounds. That was rough. I couldn’t walk him.”

Despite her brush with death, there are certain lifestyle changes that Selena simply refuses to make.

For example, while many who have had issues with their kidneys choose to steer clear of alcohol and other substances that might tax the organs, Selena has proudly proclaimed that she still enjoys the occasional glass of wine.

“As far as my personal life, someone sees me having a glass of wine? I could give two sh-ts," she told Elle.

"I’m not trying to hide. That’s my life."

While that's certainly her prerogative, the folks at Radar speculate that Selena's continued partying may have played a role in Rasia's decision to end the friendship.

Selena checked into rehab back in February, and many of her friends reportedly believe that drinking is one of the activities she should avoid for the sake of both her physical and mental wellbeing.

We may never know exactly what led to the falling-out between Selena and Francia.

But if Gomez was the one to pull the plug on the friendship -- as is currently being rumored -- we hope she can find it in heart to forgive her former friend.

After all, she literally carries a piece of Raisa with her everywhere she goes.

Selena Gomez says she doesn't have a problem with alcohol.

And since she's 27 years old and at the helm of a wildly successful career, we're inclined to believe her when she claims she's able to balance her partying with her professional obligations.

But sadly, in addition to a slew of hit singles, Selena has something else that most people her age could never fathom -- a battery of serious health problems.

In 2013, Gomez revealed that she had been diagnosed with lupus in 2013.

The disease has had a profound effect on her overall health in the years that followed.

Selena underwent a kidney transplant in 2017, with her then-best friend Francia Raisa as donor.

It was later revealed that Raisa almost died during the procedure, and Selena publicly sang her friend's praises, declaring Francia a literal life-saver.

Gomez also vowed to adopt a healthier lifestyle ... but for a long time, it didn't seem that she was making good on her promise.

Fans became concerned when the singer defended her right to continue drinking and living as she sees fit in a series of candid interviews.

They became even more worried when word got out that Selena and Francia were no longer on speaking terms due to Gomez's continued partying.

“Selena did the exact opposite of what she said she was going to do when she got well again,” an insider tells Radar Online.

"She said she was not going to drink anymore, but she did.”

The insider confirms that Francia “called Selena out” on her behavior, which led to a falling out.

“She cares about her and she loves her,” the source explains.

“She told her that she was just really making some unhealthy choices, and that she was concerned for her.”

Now, it seems we have good news and bad news to report regarding Selena's health and her relationship with Rasia.

The good news is, Selena has reportedly cut drinking out of her life, at least for the time being.

Confirming these reports is the fact that Gomez and a friend were photographed at a Kacey Musgraves concert over the weekend, and both were sipping water.

The bad -- and very sad -- news is that she's still not on speaking terms with Raisa.

A source tells Radar that the two women have concluded that their relationship is fractured beyond repair.

"Because of everything that they’ve been through together, Selena doesn’t know if she can ever really be a part of Francia’s life again,” says the insider.

Sometimes extreme circumstances bring people closer together, but unfortunately, they're just as likely to drive them apart.

Hailey Baldwin, we see you girl!

The 22-year-old model quietly "liked" a photo of Selena Gomez last night on Instagram, out of nowhere, and fans don't know what to think.

Although the two are not exactly BFFs, because, well, Hailey married Selena's on-and-off ex-boyfriend last year, it looks like time may have finally healed all wounds?

Ok, it's hard to know what's really going on here with just the smallest amount of Instagram activity, but anything is possible! 

And when you look further into the details of this story, it seems as though Hailey is totally offering up an olive branch. 

Besides Justin Bieber, who the girls both um, have in common, they also share best friend Raquelle Stevens.

Raquelle posted a cute photo on September 23 to celebrate the launch of her new Vodcast, Giving Back Generation, which featured friends Courtney Lopez, Ashley Cook, and yep, Selena. 

The three women were Raquelle's guests for her very first episode, and after the taping, she took to IG to promote the release. 

"On this episode we talk about what giving looks like through friendship," Raquelle's caption read. 

"This episode is particularly special to me as Courtney, Sel, and Ashley have been my friends all through my 20's. We talk about what it means to support each other, forgive, and grow together." 

"Look forward to hearing your feedback & hope it leaves you encouraged," she wrote. 

Hailey liked the pic to support her friend, but Selena fans couldn't help but notice the gesture. 

In the show, Stevens emphasized the importance of women not competing with one another and supporting each other instead. 

"When you're in your lane, no one else is you," Stevens said.

SO basically, Hailey showed her support on the most appropriate of photos, making it very clear that she is here for that friendship message.

And we're crying it's fine. 

Ok, I know that these two will probably never hang out and eat ice cream together, but still, the gesture is inspiring. 

And even better, it was intentional. Hailey's "like" is still present on the post, so we're pretty sure that this time she actually meant to leave it, unlike her last run-in with Gomez on social media.

Remember last year when she accidentally followed a Selena Gomez fan account? 

And then she DM'd the owner saying she was sorry for accidentally following the account?

...yeah, it was very uncomfy.

But years before any of this love triangle drama went down, Hailey was actually a huge Selenator. 

Oh No They Didn't dug up some old tweets made by Baldwin where she gushed about Gomez (and yes, even her relationship with Justin Biber, believe it or not.) 

In one tweet Baldwin said, "I'm for sure 100% team #Jelena."

Boy, how times have changed.

Now, Hailey and Justin are happily married and well, life goes on. 

Who knows, maybe Selena will return the love to Hailey one day?  

"Never Say Never", but I wouldn't hold your breath.

Hailey Baldwin is being forced to deny new accusations that not only does she want to see Selena Gomez dead...

... but that she wants to see Selena Gomez dead by her own hand.

Here's the latest on Justin Bieber's serious ex-girlfriend and Justin Bieber's current wife:

At midnight, Selena dropped her first new song in about four years, powerful self-love ballad titled "Lose You to Love Me."

The track was accompanied online by a moving black-and-white music video.

In this new single, the 27-year-old artist -- who has been taking time out of the spotlight recently to focus on her health and well-being -- appears to be saying goodbye to a past love, once and for all.

Therefore, naturally, fans have been assuming that "Lose You to Love Me" is all about young Mr. Bieber.

Gomez, of course, did not verify this speculation, simply saying of the song:

"This song was inspired by many things that have happened in my life since releasing my last album.

"I thought it was important to share the music, as I know many can relate to the fact that the road to self-discovery generally comes through the scars in one's life.

"I want people to feel hope and to know you will come out the other side stronger and a better version of yourself."

Gomez and Bieber split for the final time in 2018... and it didn't take long for Bieber to then turn to Baldwin, who he eventually married.

Hence why folks think the following lyric is all about this messy situation: 

I gave my all and they all know it/You tore me down and now it's showing.

In two months you replaced us/Like it was easy/Made me think I deserved it/In the thick of healing.

Is Selena really singing about Justin here? We cannot say for certain.

However, Baldwin took to her own Instagram Story shortly after this track's release to say something of her own. 

She made it known to followers that she was, at that moment, listening to the track "I'll Kill You" by Summer Walker -- and, well, various social media users took it from there.

They interpreted this as a very clear signal to Gomez.

As Hailey basically saying: Back the eff off, bish. Stop talking about my husband!

This rumor has actually grown so strong that Baldwin herself is here to talk about it.

"Please stop with this nonsense," she told Just Jared on Wednesday. "There is no 'response.' This is complete BS."

Oh, okay then. That's too bad. We were sort of hoping for a blood feud here, for content purposes and all.

Up until now, for her part, Gomez has remained quiet about her ex's nuptials, but this new song certainly seems to be her way of expressing her feelings.

"You promised the world and I fell for it/I put you first and you adored it," Gomez sings. "Set fires to my forest/And you let it burn/Sang off key in my chorus/'Cause it wasn't yours."

The lyrics even continue:

"I saw the signs and I ignored it. Rose colored glasses all distorted/Set fire to my purpose/And I let it burn."

Bieber, it should be noted, has not yet commented on any of this.

Selena Gomez knows what everyone is talking about right now.

And it's not what she hoped they'd be talking about after she released her first new single in four years.

Earlier this week, you see, Gomez delighted fans with the dropping of "Lose You to Love Me."

It's a powerful ballad... that is rather transparently about Justin Bieber and her romantic history with the artist.

Just consider this lyric from the track:

I gave my all and they all know it/You tore me down and now it's showing.

In two months you replaced us/Like it was easy/Made me think I deserved it/In the thick of healing.

Those who followed the journey of "Jelena" know well that Bieber and Gomez split up for good in 2018 -- and it didn't take very long from there for Bieber to start dating Hailey Baldwin.

Nor did it even take very long after that for Baldwin and Bieber to get married in a civil ceremony last summer.

Not long after Selena unveiled this single, reaction poured in from the Internet.

Many observers even took note of what Baldwin posted to her Instagram Story, which was a reference to the song "I'll Kill You" by Summer Walker.

Was Hailey hurling shade at Selena for singing about her husband?

Was she even threatening to murder Gomez for it?!?

Such questions became so prevalent online that Hailey was forced to issue a statement in response.

"Please stop with this nonsense," she told Just Jared on Wednesday. "There is no 'response.' This is complete BS."

That's a pretty strong denial, we must say. We believe Hailey on this one.

And it appears as if Gomez does as well.

She actually just released a snippet of a more upbeat song titled "Look at Her Now," writing on Instagram along with it:

"And here's my special gift to all of my ride or dies! I created this with Apple especially for you.

"Y'all have been through it all with me and I thank you for pushing me to be the best. Look At Her Now is out now."

The pop star also hosted an Instagram Live, where she thanked her fans for supporting her during this new journey... and then seemed to address this while Baldwin hullabaloo.

"I am so grateful for the response of the song. However, I will never stand for women tearing other women down," the singer said during this session.

She added: "So please be kind to everyone."

Amen, right?

Concluded Gomez on this subject:

"Please be kind, I don't like seeing people being disrespectful or rude to other people, so please don't do that."

Truth be told, we could all learn a lot from how Selena has handled things here.

There have been unconfirmed rumors of her still being in touch with Bieber and, hey, maybe they really are pals.

For the most part, however, she has managed to remain quiet while Bieber and Baldwin earn headline after headline for their marriage,  taking the high road at every opportunity and channeling her feelings into her art.

That's how this is supposed to work, right?

After ages of silence, Selena Gomez has returned to us. By which we mean that she's making posts and music again.

Some of that music has appeared to be directly aimed at her infamous ex, Justin Bieber, who got married just months after their last breakup.

Now, a brilliant mashup of two of their songs frame the disparate tracks as part of a single conversation.

Selena Gomez's lyrics in "Lose You To Love Me" are not what you'd call subtle or veiled.

People spent decades debating the subject of Carly Simon's "You're So Vain." Everybody knows that Selena's singing about the Biebs.

Similarly, Justin's 2015 hit, "Sorry," seemed to be offering a (monetizable) public apology for being a dickbag to Selena.

Now, those songs have been fused into one mashup. It's a truly galaxy-brained decision.

This isn't just some sappy fusion of music by a pair of exes.

"It's too late now to say sorry," Justin acknowledges in his song.

As YouTube commenters pointed out, Selena sings: "Yeah."

It's no wonder that this mashup has more than 100,000 positive ratings vs only about 1,000 downvotes by, we assume, Hailey Baldwin stans.

Andy Wu is the Los Angeles-based filmmaker, editor, and music producer who crafted the mashup.

"It’s been 3 years since I made JELENA Megamix (2008-2016)," he acknowledges below the video.

Wu adds: "Now their chapter is officially closed and done."

"I guess it’s time for everyone to move on," he concludes. That is very correct.

The mashup itself makes for easy listening if you're a big fan of both artists.

If you're a diehard Selena Gomez admirer but can't often tolerate the sound of men singing, you may just want to stick to "Lose You To Love Me."

But it's worth taking a shot at the mashup, which we have included in this post.

A lot of celebrities sing about their exes, but it's rare to see two such songs work together so very well.

It's no surprise that Selena is singing about the Biebs ... again.

In late 2017, she and Justin reunited after he bent over backwards to convince her that he had changed ... and that God wanted them to get together.

They dated again for months, only to break up in early 2018. Whew.

Just a few months later, Justin was back to dating his other ex, Hailey Baldwin. Weeks later, the two became engaged.

We can't speak to what was going through Justin's mind at the time.

Maybe he was just super inspired by Ariana Grande's engagement to Pete Davidson (remember that?).

Maybe it was related to the controversial church that he attends -- the same church that treats him like a prince and helps out on his "church dates."

Or maybe the Biebs had just reached a point in his life where he wanted to be married, and Hailey seemed like a solid plan B.

As unfair as all of that is to Hailey herself (and we really do love Hailey; she deserved better context for her engagement and marriage), she's not the only victim.

How did Selena feel after months of Justin insisting that they were divinely ordained, only to see him taking Hailey on the exact same church dates?

Well, we don't have to wonder what she was feeling.

She's expressing it all through song. At least in this mashup, she gets something of a real apology from the worst mistake she ever kept making.

On the list of good deeds that leave the recipient in your debt for the rest of their life, donating an organ is up there with pulling someone out of quicksand or letting them use your phone charger when you're under 50 percent.

So many fans were understandably shocked when Selena Gomez cut ties with Francia Raisa, the longtime friend who gave Gomez one of her kidneys.

Selena suffers from lupus and a number of other health issues.

She gushed that Raisa "saved [her] life" following the procedure, but shortly thereafter, the friends stopped speaking and unfollowed one another on social media.

Rumors about the cause of Selena and Francia's split circulated for months.

Some of them were absurd, such as the claim that Gomez and Raisa fought over Justin Bieber.

Others seemed to have more of a basis in reality -- particularly the claim that Francia was upset by the fact that Selena was still drinking despite her myriad health issues.

Whatever the case, it seems Selena and Francia have officially put their differences behind them.

On Thursday, Selena donned a costume to the premiere of Frozen 2 with her 5-year-old sister, Gracie.

Naturally, the singer documented the occasion for her Instagram followers:

“Hope I’m officially the best big sissy ever now," Gomez captioned the pic.

"She was LIVING her best life!! Frozen 2 was amazing!!!” 

For obvious reasons, the pic attracted many enthusiastic comments, including one from Raisa:

“Omg! My heart right now,” Francia wrote.

Unintentionally, the Grown-ish actress overshadowed the original post with that subtle indication that she and Selena have buried the hatchet.

“Friends again, I'm gonna cry," wrote one fan.

Interestingly, the reconciliation comes on the heels of news that Selena has quit drinking at the advice of doctors and loved ones.

While neither party has said as much, several sources have confirmed that Gomez's boozing was at the heart of her feud with Raisa.

“[Raisa] cares about her and she loves her,” an insider told Radar Online.

“She told her that she was just really making some unhealthy choices, and that she was concerned for her.”

The source says that while Francia never judged Selena, she felt she could not stand idly by and watch her friend make making “unhealthy” choices that might endanger her life.

It's unlikely that either Francia or Selena will offer a public explanation, but the important thing is that they're friends once again.

Selena Gomez made QUITE the impression on the red carpet of the American Music Awards on Sunday night.

We mean... just look at the photo below.

Without getting too crude or inappropriate or anything, it's clear why this ensemble had a lot of folks talking, right?

Shortly after posing for this picture, however, Selena changed outfits and took to the stage in Los Angeles -- and observers suddenly starting talking about her for other, non-boob related reasons.

In short, the singer's failed to live up to expectations.

For her first live television performance in two years, Gomez performed her two new songs, the vulnerable ballad “Lose You to Love Me” and upbeat anthem “Look at Her Now."

And the responses to these renditions?

Well. They were not very positive.

“I love Selena, but oof was that a rough performance #AMAs #AMAs2019," one fan wrote on Twitter, while another added:

“I love Selena … but, WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!!? #AMAs."

And then a third chimed as follows:

“Selena Gomez just flopped so bad … This is the worst performance I’ve seen since Fergie’s national anthem fail…YIKES #AMAs."

Poor Selena.

In recent weeks, the pop star has been riddled with drama after the release of her “Lose You to Love Me,” which many believe is about her ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber.

She then had to tell fans to stop saying mean things about Bieber's wife, Hailey Baldwin.

Perhaps due to these clouds of controversy, a source now tells People Magazine that there's a reason Gomez performed so poorly on Sunday evening.

"She definitely had a panic attack. She was nervous. She hasn’t been on stage in two years, and it’s an important song in her career,” this insider alleges, adding of Selena:

“She really wanted to deliver."

If this is true, we feel really terrible for Gomez.

We've never performed in front of millions of television viewers and really can't imagine the pressure that must build up there.

According to this same report, Gomez’s panic attack hit“at the last minute" and "it threw her off. She did sound better at rehearsal."

Clearly aware that the performance was not the best she can offer, Selena still tried to sound a happy tune on Instagram yesterday.

“Feels good to be back,” she wrote on Instagram with photos of her red carpet look.

“Thank you to my entire team and to my fans that stand by me. All of this is for you and because of you. excited for this chapter.”

And, hey, as you can see below... at least Selena's BFF had herself quite the night:

Some misguided Selena Gomez have been bombarding Madison Beer with hate, accusing her of betraying Selena and siding with Hailey Baldwin.

This is not the first time that Selena has had to ask fans to be kinder to people they mistakenly perceive to be her enemies.

Running into your ex is awkward. But what about running into your ex's wife, who is also hanging out with your own good friend?

That's more or less what happened to Selena Gomez over the weekend.

By happenstance, she was at the same hot spot as Hailey Baldwin, who was dining with their mutual friend Madison Beer.

Upon hearing the news, some very vocal misguided Selenators swarmed Madison's Instagram with vicious comments.

"Selena unfollowed you. She don’t [sic] need fake friends. It was a really big mistake to mess with Selena,” taunted one troll.

Another claimed: “Hailey’s heart is rotten to the core and I am disappointed in you."

“Stay away from [Hailey]," a third troll warned Madison.

For the record, Selena has not unfollowed Madison. Look at Madison's Instagram "followed by" list. We did.

The hateful attacks were so loud and intense that Selena herself had to stoop to addressing it in a comment of her own.

"This is disgusting reading all of this," Selena remarks.

Speaking of the coincidental dining experience, she clarifies: "This wasn’t intentional whatsoever."

"I’m so disappointed that people would speak to someone like this," Selena laments.

"I have known Madison since she was a baby," Selena notes.

She adds: "and watched her continue to become the woman she is."

“There is no issue," Selena stresses.

Madison responded to the trolls in a now-deleted comment of her own.

"I just had dinner with my friend Hailey of 10 years and that’s it," she wrote in a plea to stop the tidal wave of viciousness.

"How is that a crime?" she asked. "I love Selena … always have … and I would literally never in a million years try to upset her???"

"This is just mean and unnecessary and nothin [sic] happened," Madison emphasized. That poor girl.

Of course, most of Madison Beer's comments came from actual fans, not hateful trolls.

"I love you Madison … you don’t deserve the hate,” assured one fan.

Another comment read: “I love both Selena and Madison but you childish kids need to leave Madison alone."

The defender advised: "go find something useful to do with yourself."

We can all get a little carried away when it comes to our favorite celebrities. My own confession relates to her song, "It Ain't Me."

You know: "Who's waking up to drive you home / When you're drunk and all alone / Who's gonna walk you through the dark side of the morning?"

The answer, in the song, is simply "It ain't me." Fair enough.

I will admit that, during the summer of 2018, I did make a habit of replacing that succinct answer with another: "Hailey Baldwin." I mean, it's true.

It's also harmless. In contrast, bombarding someone on social media over a perceived slight towards a famous person who can speak for themselves? Not so harmless.

The truth of the matter is that none of Selena's songs from her new album, Rare, are intended to drag or bash Hailey.

Our guess is that, if anything, Selena is grateful that Justin is out of her romantic life, hopefully forever.

It is also possible that she pities Hailey for the circumstances of how she got engaged to the Biebs, but that's pure speculation.

If you couldn't tell from Selena Gomez's new music, she has a lot to say about her former relationship with Justin Bieber.

Now that he's married, Selena is opening up with her non-lyrical reflections, describing herself as having been a victim of emotional abuse.

Selena Gomez opened up to NPR about her life, her struggles, and where she is now.

When asked if her final breakup with the Biebs was one of the hardest parts of her life, her answer was supremely honest.

"I’ve found the strength in it," Selena says in reference to the fateful split, which was followed just months later by Justin's engagement to Hailey Baldwin.

She expresses: "It’s dangerous to stay in a victim mentality."

"And I’m not being disrespectful," Selena continues, "I do feel I was a victim to certain abuse."

She quickly clarifies after she is asked if she is referring to "emotional abuse."

"Yes," Selena confirms.

Emotional abuse can take many forms, from constant verbal criticism to selective emotional distance to a refusal to be pleased, and more.

Selena continues: "and I think that it’s something that I had to find a way to understand it as an adult."

She is 27 years old now, and will turn 28 in July. She was just a teenager when she and Justin first got together.

"And I had to understand the choices I was making," she affirms.

Sometimes, just because you have lingering feelings or even love for someone doesn't mean that you should be in a relationship with them.

"As much as I definitely don’t want to spend the rest of my life talking about this," Selena says.

She continues, expressing: "I am really proud that I can say I feel the strongest I’ve ever felt."

Selena concludes: "and I’ve found a way to just walk through it with as much grace as possible."

We can absolutely understand why she wants to move on from this topic just as she moved on from that disaster of a relationship.

Naturally, people are going to wonder what Selena may have meant when she referred to emotional abuse.

If one listens to her lyrics from songs in Revival, it seems clear that she felt that Justin at times presented himself as someone he was not.

Additionally, in the song "Sober" and then in the song "It Ain't Me," Selena makes clear references to alcohol dependency.

The line "you don't know how to love me when you're sober" is strongly descriptive of someone who withholds affection in a toxic manner.

But taking lyrics literally can be a slippery slope, even though the world is well aware of Justin's struggles with sobriety.

One doesn't need lyrics to acknowledge that for many years, Justin had a reputation for being a huge jerk with anger issues.

And then there were reports that he took Selena on "church dates" to Hillsong Church, where they catered to his every wish.

It was suggested at the time that he was trying to make Selena believe, as he apparently did, that God wanted them to be together.

That's all kinds of screwed up, especially considering that he was apparently pulling the exact same thing with Hailey just months later.

That would certainly qualify as toxic behavior and perhaps a form of emotional abuse.

Congratulations to Selena for her incredible new album, Rare (my favorite new song is definitely "Dance Again").

We are overjoyed that she is moving on and in a happier and healthier place.

Recently, Selena Gomez opened up about how Justin Bieber was emotionally abusive during their lengthy, on-again off-again relationship.

Now, Justin is talking about his life, his marriage, and admitting that yes, he was not an ideal boyfriend to Selena.

Justin Bieber spoke to Apple Music about his new album, Changes. He also spoke about just about everything else.

It turns out that Justin took time to himself before getting back with Hailey. He says: "I'd let her know prior to the tour when we were hanging a lot."

He recalls: 'I said, 'Listen, I'm still really hurt and still trying to figure out my way, and I'm not ready to make a commitment to you in a way that...'"

"'I just don't want to say something and do the opposite,'" Justin quotes himself as having cautioned her.

Justin explains that he wanted to avoid letting her down "because I was at the point where I'd done that in the past."

"And I just was honest with her," he admits. "I was like, 'I'm not in a place to be faithful.'"

Justin continues: "and all this sort of stuff, that I wanted to be, but I just wasn't there yet."

"I think I was just hurt from my previous relationship," he admits, without ctually name-dropping Selena.

"I think I still was dealing with a lot of unforgiveness and all that sort of stuff," Justin suggests.

"To be honest," he confesses, "I don't think I even knew what I was really struggling with at the time."

"I don't think I knew I was dealing with unforgiveness," Justin reiterates.

"I was just in a place where I knew I didn't want to tell [Hailey] one thing and..." he says, trailing off before rephrasing.

"I felt like she respected me at the time," Justin says of his wife, "and I had a lot of respect for her."

"And so," he reasons, "I just didn't want to say something and then she'd see me off doing some other thing."

That's called growth, people.

"But either way," Justin says, "she loved me and seeing me with other people hurt her."

"And so with that being said," Justin recalls, "she went out and did things that hurt me."

"And so just this hurt, I've hurt her, she hurt me," he describes.

"And then before tour we just really stopped talking," Justin notes. "I was really upset."

Is this a music interview or a couples therapy session?

"Before that, in my previous relationship," Justin says, "I went off and just went crazy and went wild, just was being reckless."

For years, he was in a toxic on-again, off-again relationship with Selena Gomez. He was the toxic part.

"This time I took the time to really build myself and focus on me," he notes.

"And try to make the right decisions and all that sort of stuff," Justin adds. "And yeah, I got better."

"You'd hear like, 'Oh, he's doing so well,' and she would be so pissed off," Justin says of Hailey.

He explains her reaction "because she's like, 'He's not doing well without me.'" 

Hailey was present for the interview, and this is when she chimes in with an explanation.

She says: "You want to think you're happy for someone, it sucks to hear that they're happy without you."

Justin credits Jesus for his turnaround.

Speaking of his previous path towards personal destruction, he says that only his faith prevented his demise, saying: "Yeah, I would have for sure."

"One hundred percent, yeah..." Justin continues. "It would have been no bueno."

"It was bad…I don't know if I'd be alive," he expresses. "It was dark, really dark."

"So I'm very, very grateful to have influences in my life," Justin emphasizes.

Influences "that have played a huge part in me seeing their relationship with Jesus and their relationship with their wives, and their relationship with their kids."

Justin speaks of looking at these influences "and saying, 'That's what I want,' and I'm striving after that."

"She is definitely the reason, there'd be no story without her," Justin praises his wife.

Continuing to speak of Hailey, he says: "She just ties it all together."

"She's giving me substance to talk about," Justin adds, "she's the person that I'm learning to love unconditionally, start a family with."

"So regardless if I sell another record," Justin expresses, "I mean, I have a lot of peace."

He has peace "just knowing that I have the rest of my life to build a relationship with a solid foundation of trust and patience,"

Justin adds: "and all the things that go into building a healthy relationship."

Selena Gomez has opened up to her very close friend about something very personal.

And, at the same time, she's opened up to the entire world about it as well.

The artist reunited with good friend Miley Cyrus this week for an Instagram Live chat that has gone viral.

Why?

Because Gomez revealed during this discussion that she had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

“Recently, I went to one of the best mental hospitals in America, McLean Hospital, and I discussed that after years of going through a lot of different things, I realized that I was bipolar,” Gomez told Cyrus, adding:

“And so when I got to know more information, it actually helps me. It doesn’t scare me once I know it.”

Bipolar disorder is associated with episodes of mood swings, ranging from depressive lows to manic highs.

There is no known cause and treatment is typically lifelong, often involving a combination of medications and psychotherapy.

Gomez had previously said Justin Bieber mentally abused her in various ways during their time as a couple, but she talked to Cyrus about an actual mental health disorder.

This has nothing to do with Bieber.

During their chat, Cyrus and Gomez also discussed how they’ve been keeping anxiety at bay during the current Covid-19 crisis and the importance of staying connected.

“I’m just really happy that we did this new DM. It was very sweet because you just sent a butterfly emoji,” Cyrus told Selena on the show.

“And that’s enough. Connecting with people and letting them know that you’re there. A butterfly emoji is totally enough."

Gomez then delved into all the ways she's been dealing with her dianosis, specifically how she's been channeling some of the challenges associated with it.

“I’ve been writing a lot. I think that that’s been helping me process what’s been going on,” said the 27-year old.

“A lot of it is connecting with people that maybe you haven’t been the greatest to that you may not have thought about.

"I feel like there’s been a lot of people I’ve gotten to do that with not necessarily saying it was bad, but just saying, ‘Hey, I hope you’re safe. I hope you’re doing okay,’ and that you know you’re on my side.

"I’m only sending you love from this end.”

The two singers and friend then chatted about mental health in general, along with donating to non-profit organizations as they social distance due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Said Selena;

“There are moments where I just have to center myself and let the thoughts come in. Sometimes I’ll write them down, and then completely just sit with, ‘What is it? What is the root of this? Why can I get to the bottom of this?’

"And it really helps me."

In the end, both stars expressed gratitude for their talk.

And for each other.

“I’m so happy to have [had] you on the show and got to reconnect,” Cyrus concluded.

“Send me butterflies any time. When all this has moved on and we can connect, we’ll just hug.”

It's been a rough couple of years for Demi Lovato.

The low point came in July of 2018, when Lovato suffered an overdose that nearly claimed her life.

The near-death experience followed six years of hard-fought sobriety, and with the help of her family and friends, Demi got back into rehab, and once more embarked on the long, difficult path to recovery.

Of course, hard times often teach us who are true friends are, and it seems that's been the case for Demi.

Thus far, the peak of her comeback was Demi's performance at the Grammys, where she delivered a stirring rendition of a ballad inspired by her recent struggles.

The singer received many kind messages of support on social media, but it seems not all of them were welcome.

“I wish there were words to describe how beautiful, inspirational and DESERVED this moment was. Demi I’m so happy for you," Selena Gomez tweeted.

"Thank you for your courage and bravery.”

In a new interview with Harper's Bazaar, Demi revealed that she was surprised by the comment, as she and Selena are not in contact with one another, and their friendship did not end on amicable terms.

“When you grow up with somebody, you’re always going to have love for them. But I’m not friends with her, so [the Instagram post] felt …,” Demi told the magazine before trailing off mid-sentence.

“I will always have love for her, and I wish everybody nothing but the best.”

Clearly, Demi is trying to maintain a positive attitude in all things these days. Good for her.

But we all know the feeling when a figure from your past re-emerges just in time to piggy back on your success.

So it's not hard to imagine what she wanted to say.

Demi added that she's no longer in contact with many of her former friends from her Disney days, including the Jonas brothers.

“I talk to Miley [Cyrus],” she exclaimed.

“She’s awesome, and I love her to death and always will, always have. But I think she’s kind of the only one from that era that I still stay in touch with.”

These days, Demi is dating Max Ehrich, an actor best known for his work on As the World Turns.

She's no longer in contact with Wilmer Valderrama, her former boyfriend of six years, who recently announced his engagement to Amanda Pacheco.

“I’m really happy for him and I wish him nothing but the best, but we’re not in each other’s lives,” Lovato said. 

“But I think I needed that because I needed to learn to be okay on my own.”

Lovato declined to comment on the seriousness of her relationship with Ehrich, stating that she has no idea what the future holds in store.

“People always ask me, ‘What’s your type?’ And I’m like, ‘Have you seen my history?’ There is no type. It is solely off connection," she said.

"I wish I could say, ‘I only date attractive people.’ But I don’t."

Here's hoping Max doesn't catch wind of that comment!

Good news!

On Thursday, August 27, HBOMax announced that they are already renewing Selena's show for a second season.

The show's barely been out for two weeks, but fans are already looking forward to a second season.

It's not really a surprise that the show has been renewed, and we're not just talking about how it's relatively inexpensive as far as streaming television goes.

What can we say -- the show features Selena, food, and a window into the bizarre and aching loneliness that millions are experiencing as we near six months of lockdown.

It is very much a winning combination.

For now, though, it is time to get hyped for Selena's collab with Blackpink.

It's a little weird to see music videos coming out during lockdown, knowing that they were filmed during the pandemic.

However, from the teasers, it looks like they took many precautions to minimize risks -- from avoiding close contact to avoiding hordes of extras.

One day, we'll again have music videos where people are making out or surrounded by dozens of tightly packed dancers ... one day.

For now, we can enjoy the sweetness and light that "Ice Cream" is sure to be when it drops on Friday.

Nicki Minaj was right when she said to keep an eye out for Selener. Her talent has no limits.

A worsening pandemic, ever-heightening political tension, raging wildfires threatening thousands of homes and lives -- the summer of 2020 brought with it many surprises.

But perhaps none has been more unexpected than the return of the 1950s sailor-style bikini.

As we've stated many times this year, Kylie's quarantine content has been one of the very few highlights of being stuck at home for six months and counting.

This week's installment brought us Kylie seemingly biting Selena's style in a navel-baring naval ensemble.

But while some fans were quick to call out this apparent act of sartorial plagiarism, Kylie's look is actually based on the aesthetic of her makeup line's recently-released summer collection.

Yes, this is a strange time of year to drop a bunch of summer-themed products, but Kylie lives in Calabasas, California, a place where there are no seasons or financial concerns, so people can splurge on overpriced summer crap in September.

So yeah, to be clear, it's almost certainly a pure coincidence that Kylie and Selena both decided to rock the candy stripe look within about a week of one another.

But the lack of celebrity beach activity this summer has left us starved for an old-fashioned "who wore it better?"

Just a week after debuting her "Ice Cream" collab with Blackpink, Selena Gomez is opening up about her love life.

At this point, she jokes that she may never be married ... in part because all of her ex-boyfriends think that she's "crazy."

The talented and beautiful Selena Gomez sat down with the talented and beautiful Nikkie Tutorials.

Nikkie is a beauty vlogger whose real name is Nikkie de Jager.

You may remember how, early this year, Nikkie came out as transgender after someone attempted to blackmail her over who she is.

Many also took note that Nikkie was brave enough to be one of the first to speak publicly about Ellen DeGeneres not quite living up to her friendly reputation.

Selena's chat with Nikkie was remote, of course, since the COVID-19 pandemic is still very much a part of our lives.

The two of them speak on a number of topics while doing their makeup. It's a good setup.

As you can see in the short clip that we have included of the full interview on NikkieTutorials' YouTube channel, Selena mentions her hypothetical one-day wedding.

"Which is ... never going to happen," the profoundly talented singer remarks.

"It's hard in quarantine," she says in reference to both dating and looking forward to the prospect of engagement and marriage.

"This is also not an invitation," Selena adds, pointing her finger at the camera.

In other words, viewers should not try to date her based upon this interview. This means you, famous viewers.

Selena is no stranger to being one of the most desired women on the planet.

But just because she talks about desiring a boyfriend doesn't mean that she's inviting people to try.

Similarly, if she says that she's hungry and you pick up a soggy hotdog that you found in a gutter, it won't be welcome. (My analogy, not hers)

"It's just funny," Selena remarks.

It's funny "because I release things that say 'I want a boyfriend' and stuff, and people say that."

Selena notes that they offer to date her "and I'm like 'No, I didn't mean that.'"

"Guys are a lot of work," Selena expresses.

Relationships don't have to be difficult in the sense of drama, fights, and disagreements.

But even the good ones require things like compromise and simply the emotional labor of spending time with a fellow human being. Being single has its perks.

"Every one of my exes think I'm crazy," Selena says, "so I don't care."

Obviously, a lot of people very correctly try to avoid saying words like "crazy" because it connotes stigmatization of mental illness.

However, Selena has opened up about her bipolar diagnosis. For those with mental illness, using such words about themselves can be empowering or even healing.

It has been pointed out, most famously by comedian Donald Glover, that men have the luxury of calling an ex-girlfriend "crazy."

In contrast, he semi-joked, a woman with a "crazy" ex-boyfriend is probably not alive to talk about it. Gallows humor can apply to relationships.

Selena is hopefully aware that she is desirable and worthy of anything that she wants out of life.
