It seems that every week we hear a new rumor about Justin Bieber hooking up with Kourtney Kardashian.

At the same time, of course, there are frequent reports about Bieber trying to win back Selena Gomez.

So what's a young bajillionaire with a jones for two very different women to do?

If you said ditch 'em both and hook up with a model who looks exactly like a Selena-Kourtney hybrid, then you might actually be Justin Bieber.

Insiders say the Biebs has been hooking up with a model named Alexandra Rodriguez.

TMZ has dubbed her "Selena 2.0" but we think she looks more like what would happen if Selena and Kourtney somehow conceived a child together.

And we're not here to mock the grandmother or the little girl.

It's easy to see how one really can find the video here legitimately moving. Look how into the song "Who Says" the girl gets, belting out such lyrics as:

Thanks to her 89.1 million followers - yes, 89.1 million followers - Gomez has set an Instagram record, sharing a photo online two weeks ago that has now become the Most-Liked image in that platform's history.

As of this writing, the following photo has been Liked over 4 million times.

It features Selena using a straw to take a sip from a Coke bottle; a Coke bottle with the lyrics "You're the spark" on it.

Those lyrics come from the Gomez track "Me & the Rhythm."

"when your lyrics are on the bottle," Selena wrote as a caption to the picture, including the emoji of a smiley face with its tongue sticking out.

So... where does Selena's famous ex-boyfriend fit into all of this?

Back in May, Bieber earned the Most-Liked in History honor on Instagram, though he needed Selena's help to set that record at the time as well.

The picture that received over 3.7 million Likes was a throwback image that featured the stars planting a kiss on each other's lips from their days as a couple.

Everyone has something to say about it, especially Taylor Swift's best friend.

Selena Gomez posted a few tweets in response to Kim Kardashian's decision to release audio between Swift and Kanye West regarding "Famous" lyrics.

"There are more important things to talk about..." she tweeted.

"Why can't people use their voice for something that fucking matters?"

"Truth is last thing we need right now is [sic] hate, in any form," she added.

"This industry is so disappointing yet the most influential smh"

According to the Daily Mirror, a fan asked Gomez why she wasn't using the hashtag, #blacklivesmatter.

"oh lol so that means if I hashtag something I save lives?" she responded.

"No -I could give two f***s about 'sides'. You don't know what I do."

The audio reveals West running controversial lyrics about Swift by the singer herself.

"I mean it's like a compliment," West says over the phone.

"What I give a f*** about is just you as a person and as a friend, I want things that make you feel good I don't want to do rap that makes people feel bad."

Swift then gave her approval.

"Go with whatever line you think is better," she said.

"I'm really glad you had the respect to call me that and tell me that as a friend, about the song."

After the audio was released, Swift released response via Instagram stating that West left out the lyric, "I made that bitch famous."

“Where is the video of Kanye telling me he was going to call me ‘that bitch’ in his song?" Swift asked.

"It doesn’t exist because it never happened. You don’t get to control someone’s emotional response to being called ‘that bitch’ in front of the entire world.

Swift wrapped up the statement by referencing the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, where West crashed Swift's acceptance speech for Best Female Video.

"I would very much like to be excluded from this narrative, one that I have never asked to be a part of, since 2009.”

Selena Gomez tried to come to the defense of her best friend yesterday.

But she failed in pretty spectacular fashion.

Gomez, of course, is extremely close with Taylor Swift.

And Swift is having, like, the worst week in celebrity history, culminating early yesterday when Kim Kardashian released Snapchat videos of Kanye West speaking to her on the phone.

The topic of the call is Kanye's song, "Famous," and the references he makes about Swift at various points within the single.

Soon after the song went viral, Swift pleaded innocent, angry and confused, saying she was irate that Kanye would diss her in such a manner.

(For example, West refers to Taylor as a "bitch" in the song and says he made her "famous.")

Not long after the Internet nearly exploded due to a beef between the world's biggest pop star and world's biggest reality star, Selena spoke out.

"There are more important things to talk about..." the artist Tweeted. "Why can't people use their voice for something that fucking matters?"

Gomez isn't wrong.

Of course there are more important things we can discuss than Taylor Swift, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.

But people are capable of talking about more than one thing at once... plus, come on now.

This is a very silly response to a celebrity gossip flap, especially when Selena herself appears on magazine covers and gives interviews in which she talks about such pressing world topics as her music and her relationship with Justin Bieber.

As many critics on Twitter pointed out: when was the last time Selena brought up these "important things" online?

"Good question! Why haven't you or Taylor not said a thing about #BlackLivesMatter or police brutality?" one fan responded.

Gomez slammed the follower by replying as follows:

"Oh lol so that means if I hashtag something I save lives? No, I could give two f---s about 'sides.' You don't know what I do."

Again, that's fair. Gomez may do some very important charity work away from the computer.

But the subject here is what people write about on social media and Gomez should have seen this backlash coming.

"I love you but how about you use it as well to talk about what matters? you haven't spoke up about a lot of things," another follower wrote.

Gomez is the most popular user on all of Instagram.

She doesn't have to use this platform to speak on important subject matters.

But she can't tell other people to do so just because she's unhappy with the way they're insulting her close friend.

We admire Gomez for standing by Swift in her time of need; she just could have done it in less hypocritical fashion.

Selena Gomez is not the most popular person on Twitter right now.

But the singer is the star behind the most-Liked photo in Instagram history ... and you may be stunned to learn how this translates to the almighty dollar.

Earlier this week, D'Marie Analytics unveiled rankings of social media influencers, with Gomez sitting comfortably on top due to a combined follower count across platforms of 180,915,477 people.

Yes, over 180 million people sign on to the Internet on a frequent basis in order to see what Selena Gomez is doing and saying.

What does this mean for her ego? It probably means Selena should be feeling pretty good about herself these days.

What does it mean for her wallet? 

AdWeek reports that the Facebook, Twitter and Instagram posts from the pop singer are valued up to $550,000 a piece.

No, Gomez is not making that insane figure every time she shares a message or photo that includes some kind of brand or product.

But D'Marie Analytics CEO Frank Spadafora explains to AdWeek that the $550,000 price tag is the "ad equivalent" value per post.

"This valuation is based on D'Marie's algorithm, which measures 56 metrics including followers, post frequency, engagement, quality of post, click-thru and potential to create sales conversions from her social content," Spadafora says.

In other words: you know how companies shell out a couple million dollars every year for a 30-second Super Bowl ad?

They could pay far less money to Selena Gomez instead and still see their endorsements viewed by hundreds of millions of people.

How much the singer herself takes home is decided between her agents and each brand.

Scroll above to the first photo posted here, for example. Gomez was very clearly paid money to hold that particular type of popcorn.

In exchange, the popcorn company got its product to not only be seen by Gomez's 180 million-plus followers... but for those followers to be influenced by the fact that one of their favorite celebrities is eating it.

Gomez has partnerships with brands such as Coca-Cola, but Spadafora says that she's still crazy successful without overwhelming her social media accounts with ads.

She doesn't shill for products nearly as often as Kim Kardashian.

"Personally, I think it's because she's being smart and she's aware that over-saturating her social feeds with sponsored content could negatively impact the relationship she has with her audience," Spadafora says.

It's still worth remembering, however:

Any time you see a star holding a product on social media, he or she likely has a monetary reason for doing so.

We're not passing judgment. It's the same as starring in a commercial for that product on their end.

It's just important for followers to know that Selena, Kim, Justin Bieber and other celebrities are often being paid to eat, drink or wear certain things online.

Keep that in mind.

It's beginning to look like Taylor Swift's hell week has been extended.

At this point, it seems as though we may one day look back on the summer of 2016 as the season in which the world's most successful female recording artist just couldn't catch a break. 

First, there was the speculation that Swift's relationship with Tom Hiddleston is fake.

Then the singer got slammed by Calvin Harris in a scathing Twitter rant that made it clear their recent breakup wasn't as amicable as it initially seemed. 

Shortly thereafter, Kim Kardashian Snapchatted what she claimed was proof that Taylor lied about being blindsided by derogatory Kanye West lyrics, and with that, the "Taylor Swift Is Over Party" was in full swing:

Of course, Swift still has her loyal "#Squad" to support her through all of this, right?

Well, maybe not so much...

Reports of problems within Taylor's squad have been circulating for days now, and In Touch just offered up a hilarious (whether it's true or not) batch of new rumors.

“Taylor’s image as America’s Sweetheart Pop Princess has taken a great fall," says one insider.

"She’s been exposed as manipulative. I don’t think it can get any worse for Taylor.”

The source adds that Kendall Jenner was recently kicked out of the squad due to her Kimye ties and that Selena Gomez is not the Squad loyalist she's been made out to be.

"[Selena] recently found out some pretty horrible stuff Taylor has said about her, including about her weight and choice of boyfriends. Now some of the girls have started revealing what they’ve been hiding about Taylor," says the source.

“Some of the girls call her Ursula, after The Little Mermaid’s manipulative sea witch, because she’s so controlling,” claims another insider.

She adds that Taylor is the type of girl “who will see a fiend have three drinks and tattle to her boyfriend that she’s an alcoholic.”

The source claims the events of the last week constitute Taylor's worst nightmare, but the singer is unsure of how to handle it, as no one has ever challenged her like this before:

“Taylor’s public persona is everything to her ... She’s overwhelmed with the amount of bad press and feels the pressure, but she still hasn’t apologized to anything – she thinks she’s perfect. But it’s all coming back to bite her.”

Selena Gomez was on the verge of tears in concert, then broke down on Instagram this weekend, leaving fans worried for the singer.

Labeling herself as inauthentic and disconnected (she said "unauthentic" and "unconnected," but same thing), she's clearly a hard time.

That much is obvious ... what we don't know is what prompted it.

The star kicked off the international part of her Revival world tour Saturday night in Jakarta, Indonesia, just one day after turning 24.

She appeared to be having a blast with her friends as they all arrived in the country, looking giggly and excited to see everyone on Snapchat.

"I'm very, very happy and excited," she said in one video.

The singer also noted that "everybody here is so nice."

Something beneath the facade is amiss though.

Just before performing her hit song "Kill 'Em With Kindness" to end the show, Gomez got emotional as she addressed the raucous crowd:

"The next song," she told the Selenators, "before I go home, is a song that's so important to me, because I get really frustrated."

"I get stupid sometimes," the singer said. "I say things that I don't mean, or that come out wrong, just because I care so badly."

Was this an allusion to how so many people online slammed Gomez for defending Taylor Swift in her ongoing beef with Kimye?

Selena quoted from her song as she said, fighting back tears: 

"Truth is the last thing we need right now is hate, in any form. But the thing is, at the end of the day, no war in anger was ever won."

It's not clear where she was going with that, but she went on:

"I do know that deep down in my heart, that I have to believe that we can love each other and always be kind, no matter what it takes.

"I believe that we can do that, no matter what."

That emotional plea might have been the end of it, but things took a more worrisome turn when Gomez posted a note on Insta later that night:

"Tonight I felt extremely unauthentic, unconnected to both myself and my music," she posted, as you can see from the screen shot above. 

"I've never really felt like my materials, wardrobe or a video could define me. I act on a moment and fear that something hasn't happened."

"I'm stagnant, I stay still and don't just sit with myself first and ask 'Is this where I am, whole heartedly?' I've always told the truth."

"I'm always true to my word, I've shown who I am but I need to rethink some areas of my life creatively and personally."

Selena captioned the image, "not being negative about anything I've done. I'm grateful for every single moment I get here."

"Indonesia you were LOUD and clearly inspiring. Love you so much" 

Again, we don't know what prompted any of these surprising revelations, but it's undeniable that something got in her head. 

This would not be the first time Selena's fragile mental state has been a cause for concern, but it's worrisome nevertheless.

Here's hoping she finds whatever it is that she's looking for.

It's unclear just what prompted this self-diagnosis from the superstar, although it's safe to assume it had something to do with the beating she took the week before on social media.

Soon after Kim Kardashian outed Taylor Swift as a liar by sharing a video of Kanye West clearing lyrics to "Famous" with Swift, Selena jumped on Twitter to defend her best friend.

Upset over all the grief Swift was taking, Gomez wrote:

"There are more important things to talk about... Why can't people use their voice for something that f-cking matters?"

Her frustration was understandable at the time, but many Internet users turned the question around and asked Selena why she only took this stance when her pal was under attack.

It's not as if Selena goes around using her enormous social media following to enact any kind of change in the world, they argued.

Based on the mini meltdown illustrated above, it seems as if this criticism really hit home for Gomez.

So this is a long-winded way of confirming that Selena has undergone at least one kind of personal makeover since opening up to her fans:

For years now, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have teased fans with a never-ending game of are they or aren't they?

Just as their mini-soap opera was beginning to grow stale, however, a new element of drama was introduced in the form of Taylor Swift's feud with Kim Kardashian.

The two situations may seem unrelated, but *deep breath*:

Selena is a member of Taylor's squad, and even though the singer's been experiencing "squad problems" in recent months, Selena has loyally stuck by her side through a number of feuds and PR nightmares.

Add to that the fact that Bieber used to hook up with Kourtney Kardashian, Kim's older sister, and you've got a regular high school cafeteria scenario, except it's playing out in the pages of internationally-circulates tabliids, rather than in the Burn Book stashed under someone's bed.

Selena sounded off on the situation, but she took the mature, "can't we all just get along?" angle.

Earlier this week, Bieber taunted Swift on Instagram and made it pretty clear that he's siding with Kim and Kanye in this whole thing.

Now, insiders are saying the singer has effectively torpedoed his chances of one day getting back together with Selena.

Sources say Taylor has never liked Justin, and now that he's openly joined Team Kimye, they claim there's a good chance that Swift has offered her friend a "me or him" ultimatum:

“Justin knows Taylor doesn’t like him and never will and the feeling is mutual, but he is smart enough to know not to say anything in public or on social media because he knows all the scrutiny he’d endure,” an insider told Hollywood Life in April.

“He never expects to be her friend and is not looking to be her friend. He blames Taylor for some of his issues with Selena and that will never go away.”

Well, she already conquered the music world.

Now, it seems that Taylor is intent on becoming the undisputed queen of the tabloids by living a life filled with constant A-list drama.

And for that, we thank her.

Friends fear for Selena Gomez's emotional well-being after witnessing her recent behavior.

"She has been having breakdowns and is rethinking her entire music career and life path right now," a friend of Selena's told Life & Style Magazine.

Another source claims that the singer "is in a very, very bad place mentally."

"She's totally spiraling downward.  She's been so unhappy and has been drinking and partying too much to cope," the friend added.

Selena has reportedly complained of feeling "overwhelmed" and "exhausted," and told her team "she wanted to quit the tour and cancel dates.

Selena started to show signs of distress at a concert in Indonesia the weekend of July 23rd, where she broke down on stage (she had turned 24 on July 22nd).

This show was particularly significant, as it kicked off her Revival tour.

Before performing her single, "Kill 'Em With Kindness," Selena got candid with the crowds.

"The next song before I go home, is a song that's so important to me, because I get really frustrated," she told fans from the stage.

"I get stupid sometimes," she continued.

Selena Gomez does not want your sympathy.

She wants to make that clear.

The singer is happy with her life and grateful for her job and is not looking for anyone to feel remotely sorry for her.

... Gomez also covers the latest issue of Australia Vogue, telling the magazine that it can be challenging to date as a celebrity.

"For a while my private life was the most talked about thing," Gomez tells the publication, adding:

"Nobody really knows everything and they can only assume. You want to do what you love but all this other stuff overshadows it so it makes it a little harder for people to take me seriously."

Gomez, of course, is referring to her relationship with Justin Bieber.

Perhaps you've heard of him.

The romance was on for a couple of years... and then off... and then back on again... and now does appear to be off for good.

Possibly. Conceivable. Who can really ever say?

Yet, despite her mammoth personal success, many people will always refer to Selena as Justin Bieber's Ex-Girlfriend.

The artist's life seemed forever linked with her past lover, which has to be both difficult and really irritating.

The 24-year-old has since moved on from that time in her personal life, investing her passion and energy into her her profession instead.

Gomez is currently in the middle of a sold-out world tour.

"I figured it's just temporary," she says of her dating dry spell "I feel like that, fortunately and unfortunately, it's where my life is at the moment and I have to accept it."

But while Selena may talk a good game, she also would love to have a steady, loving boyfriend.

Who among us would not, right?

She understands, however, why most guys out there would be hesitant to get into a relationship with her.

"Because I think people would think it's kind of dumb [to date me]," Gomez explains.

"Nobody would want to throw themselves into that situation where it was so heightened publicly, like, why would they?"

It's a good question.

Imagine your every move, your every message and your every mistake was turned into celebrity gossip fodder.

It would almost be enough to cause one to have a mental breakdown.

As it stands these days, Selena is content in finding a creative outlet through her music, explaining to Vogue Australia the reason she pushed her label to release "Good For You" as Revival's first single.

"I was so adamant that I didn't want that to be my story," she says.

"'Same Old Love' is so obvious in what it's about, it's a cycle of a very vicious relationship. Even though that is such a huge narrative of my life.

"I felt confident with 'Good For You' [being the first single], and then it could be like, I'm pissed and this is exhausting.' I think any girl would feel that."

Remember Samuel Krost?

We didn't think you would.

But here's the important thing:

Samuel Krost absolutely remembers Selena Gomez.

Back in November, Krost - a seemingly random New York University graduate who somehow knows Gigi Hadid pretty well - was spotted out for the first time with Gomez.

Gomez and Krost grabbed dinner with some friends following the singer’s appearance at Glamour's 25th annual Women of the Year Awards.

They were even seen holding hands during their evening out.

And then Gomez and Krost were seen holding hands AGAIN a couple months later outside the SLS Hotel.

These sightings and this apparent relationship led many people to wonder: Who the heck is Samuel Krost?

The romance must have fizzled out pretty quickly because no one has heard about Krost in months... until this week.

For whatever reason, Krost jumped on Instagram yesterday and wrote a very sweet note to Selena.

Actually, the note was to Selena's critics, and it seemed to confirm that he and the artist once had something special.

In the since-deleted message, Krost wrote:

"To all the haters: Selena is a real girl with a real heart and real feelings. All you superficial [sic] who are just unhappy with your love lives, understand that love is real.

"Although we have ventured on separate paths, at least I know that love exists. I love you, Sel.”

Wow. Dude just dropped the L Bomb multiple times.

We had no idea he and Gomez were ever that serious.

Krost also seemed to tag Gomez in the comments of the post and also @’d her, seemingly in an attempt to make sure she saw the posting.

It's unclear why he would then take it down.

But one astute social media user screen-captured the tagging, asking a simple question at the bottom of her post:

what the f-ck he was trying to do lmao?

Who knows?

But it was pretty nice of him, wasn't it?

Gomez hasn't exactly been under much fire of late, so we don't know why Krost might have thought she needed his kind words.

Whatever, though. Who doesn't like hearing kinds words about them?!?

In a new interview with Australia Vogue, Gomez admits that she's difficult to be with because she's so famous.

She openly asks who would who date her... and now we appear to have an answer! 

Samuel Krost would date you, Selena! He already has! He seems to want to do so again!

We like him. Go him another shot.

Selena Gomez has no sympathy for Justin Bieber.

But she does have a pointed message for her ex-boyfriend.

Over the weekend, Bieber went very public with his new romance, sharing a number of photos of himself and Sofia Richie in Tokyo.

The 17-year old daughter of Lionel Richie accompanied the artist on this leg of his ongoing tour, with both halves of the couple making it pretty clear:

They are definitely doing it.

Bieber and Richie filled up their Instagram feeds with cute selfies, mostly snapped of the lovers hanging in the backseat of a car.

But followers had many mean things to say in response to the relationship, saying they "hate" Richie and even issuing a few threats in her direction.

In response, Bieber issued a threat of his own.

“I’m gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don’t stop the hate this is getting out of hand,” Bieber captioned a picture of himself with Richie.

He added: “If you guys are really fans you wouldn’t be so mean to people that I like."

Now, it appears as if Selena has taken note of Bieber's relationship and his response to critics - and she has something to say about it.

An Instagram account known as The Shade Room has shared what it claims to be is a message from Gomez to Bieber.

It very clearly calls out the singer for daring to threaten his fans, saying if Justin doesn't want public commentary on his love life... he ought to keep said love life private.

"If you can't handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol – it should be special between you two only," Selena allegedly wrote.

"Don't be mad at your fans. They love you."

We're a little weary over the validity of this Tweet, which Gomez supposedly deleted soon afterward.

First, it would be the first time she ever called out Bieber for dating someone else.

Selena has said on many occasions that she doesn't want to be associated with Bieber anymore; so it's hard to believe she's get involved in his personal affairs.

Secondly, Selena herself was on the receiving end of a lot of hate back when she first started dating Bieber in 2011.

You'd think she would be sympathetic to Sofia Richie in this case.

THEN AGAIN, Gomez did go ahead and share the following montage of herself and fans around the world:

She included with it the following caption:

"My whole life. You matter most. Thank you letting me do what I love every day."

This may very well be a passive aggressive dig at Bieber. This could easily be Gomez proving that she has nothing but love for her fans... while her ex has some contempt for his at the moment.

That still doesn't mean she went the first message, however.

Another social media account, meanwhile, then screengrabbed comments believed to be from Justin.

"It's funny to see people that used me for attention and still try to point the finger this way. Sad. All love," he reportedly wrote.

"I'm not one for anyone receiving hate. Hope u all can be kind to my friends and each other. And yes I love my beliebers."

Gomez and Bieber almost never interact with each other over social media.

We can't think of any times in the past when they've had these kinds of exchanges for the world to see.

So, again, we question whether these deleted posts were ever truly written by the singers.

But we leave it up to you. Do you think Gomez is really giving Bieber a hard time here for complaining?

Or is this how everything now works in the social media age and, if anything, he ought to be applauded for standing up for his new girlfriend?

Serious shots appear to have been fired between Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber.

We think. Maybe. Possibly. Hopefully, at least.*

(*Sorry, but we're a celebrity gossip website and everything. We feed off drama of this nature.)

A feud has seemingly been ignited between these famous exes after Bieber issued a threat to his Instagram followers.

Ever since he went public with new girlfriend Sofia Richie, Bieber's followers have been disparaging the 17-year old model, saying really mean things about her online.

In response, Bieber jumped on his social media account over the weekend and told these trolls to zip it. Or what?

Or THIS...

“I’m gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don’t stop the hate this is getting out of hand. If you guys are really fans you wouldn’t be so mean to people that I like."

It's hard to find fault with Bieber here, right?

The singer is standing up for his gal pal and trying to put total morons on their place.

(Because, seriously, who hates on a total stranger? Who issues death threats to anyone? Who says they like Justin Bieber, yet don't like it when Justin Bieber is happy?)

However, Gomez did reportedly take issue with Bieber's stance.

In an Instagram comment captured by The Shade Room (below), Gomez appears to blame Bieber for any of the insults thrown Richie's way.

He's the one who turned her into a public figure, she argues.

"If you can't handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol – it should be special between you two only," Selena seemingly wrote.

She added: "Don't be mad at your fans. They love you."

One can debate whether or not Selena actually left this message; or whether someone took advantage of editing/Photoshop to make it look that way.

But Gomez most definitely DID make a post on her Instagram page that paid tribute to her own fan base.

"My whole life. You matter most. Thank you letting me do what I love every day," Gomez wrote as a caption to the following montage.

This would lend credence to Gomez thinking Bieber is ungrateful for threatening to make his Instagram account private.

From there, another social media account screen-captured comments believed to be from Bieber in response.

"It's funny to see people that used me for attention and still try to point the finger this way. Sad. All love," this reply reads.

"I’m not one for anyone receiving hate. Hope u all can be kind to my friends and each other. And yes I love my beliebers."

Again, it's worth repeating that these messages were written as Comments on Bieber's Instagram page.

But if Gomez and Bieber really are engaged in a war of words, we're pretty sure Selena just came out on top.

In yet another screen capture, Gomez appears to be mocking Bieber's above response, while firing a game-changing salvo in the direction of her ex-boyfriend.

Here is what she allegedly wrote about Bieber:

Funny how the ones that cheated multiple times, are pointing the finger at the ones that were forgiving and supportive, no wonder fans are mad. Sad. All love.

WHOA THERE!

Selena’s response led to an Internet eruption, as the hashtag #SelenaEndedJustinParty is now blowing up across social media.

It's very unlike both Justin and Selena to operate this way in public.

For all the stars have been through, they've remained almost entirely friendly over social media.

Either that, or they've simply ignored each other.

Gomez has never made any sort of public insinuation before that Bieber cheated on her, let alone that he cheated on her "multiple times."

But has Bieber's romance with Sofia Richie finally pushed Gomez over the edge?

Bieber only recently began to follow Gomez again in June after having unfollowed her on the social media website in November 2014.

He may not be regretting that decision.

And we may all need to buckle in. Things are likely to get worse between Bieber and Gomez before they get better.

Just when fans thought Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez’s newly-rekindled beef couldn't possibly get any uglier on Instagram ... well $h!t.

If this report is to be believed, we may just be getting started.

The douchey pop singer apparently accused his ex-girlfriend of cheating on him with Zayn Malik in the latest salvo fired in their feud.

First, let's take a step back and recap how we got this far:

Bieber threatened fans that he would make his Instagram account private if they continued to attack his new girlfriend, Sofia Richie.

Gomez, evidently feeling like getting some attention and causing a $h!tstorm online, then interjected and threw shade in the comments.

Seriously.

Yes, Gomez called out Bieber for not keeping his private life private ... then stated that Justin cheated on Selena during their relationship.  

“Funny how the ones that cheated multiple times, are pointing the finger at the ones that were forgiving and supportive," she wrote.

"No wonder fans are mad. Sad. All love."

The authenticity of these messages is up for debate, but they quickly spread online as the hashtag #SelenaEndedJustinParty started.

Now, Bieber is firing back at his ex, accusing Gomez of cheating on him - with none other than former One Direction singer Zayn Malik.

“I cheated /.. oh I forgot about You and Zayn?” Bieber reportedly shot back, according to the latest round of screen shots going viral.

"It's funny to see people that used me for attention and still try to point the finger this way. Sad. All love," Bieber's initial reply to her said.

"I’m not one for anyone receiving hate. Hope u all can be kind to my friends and each other. And yes I love my beliebers."

Again, it's still in dispute whether this Instagram feud did, in fact, happen; Gomez and Bieber have yet to deny that it has, but nevertheless.

Selena notably joked (but not really) that she was crushing on Malik - who's dating model Gigi Hadid - in an interview early this year.

“If he had asked me out on a date, I would be seen with him,” the Disney alum told InStyle UK in January. “Just kidding, but not kidding.” 

All we can say for sure is this:

We really hope a fake Zayn Malik chimes in on Instagram and accuses both Justin and Selena of cheating on each other with Harry Styles.

Following a very public debate with ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber has gone ahead and done the unthinkable:

He has deleted his Instagram account.

For real. The singer has actually taken this extreme step.

It comes a few days after Bieber and new girlfriend Sofia Richie made their relationship Instagram official, posing for a number of photos together in Tokyo, Japan.

The pictures announced Bieber and Richie to the world as a couple, while also angering a large number of Bieber fans in the process.

As they so often do with any new Bieber hook-up, these misguided followers sent a number of hateful messages to Richie.

In response, Bieber issued a threat, writing on Sunday:

“I’m gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don’t stop the hate this is getting out of hand. If you guys are really fans you wouldn’t be so mean to people that I like."

And it was this seemingly simple directive that snowballed into a gigantic mess for Bieber.

Upon reading it, Selena Gomez allegedly got very upset.

As you can see in the following screen capture, Bieber's ex left a comment on his Instagram page, one that came down on Justin for disrespecting his fans.

It also blamed Bieber for any harassment Richie had received because he was the one who placed her in the spotlight.

"If you can't handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol – it should be special between you two only," Selena seemingly wrote.

There have been some questions over whether or not Gomez actually posted this comment because, first, it would be very unlike her to call Bieber out in such a way.

Second, it's pretty easy to Photoshop a comment on to someone's Instagram page.

This isn't as believable as a message left directly on Selena's own social media account, you know?

But it appeared as if Bieber read Selena's reply and issued a a bitter one of his own, writing as a retort:

"It's funny to see people that used me for attention and still try to point the finger this way. Sad. All love.

"I’m not one for anyone receiving hate. Hope u all can be kind to my friends and each other. And yes I love my beliebers."

Things just turned uglier from there.

Gomez mocked Bieber's response by using some of the same language... and then by accusing him of cheating on her! More than once!

"Funny how the ones that cheated multiple times, are pointing the finger at the ones that were forgiving and supportive, no wonder fans are mad," she wrote, adding:

"Sad. All love."

Whoa! Major shot fired, huh?

From here, Bieber tried to get the final say by claiming that Gomez cheated on him.

With Zayn Malik!

“I cheated /.. oh I forgot about You and Zayn?” Bieber wrote in the final screen capture to go viral.

Pretty crazy stuff, right?

Many people refused to believe these messages were real because, as mentioned above, they did NOT come from either Bieber or Gomez's official accounts.

They were simply comments left on Bieber's page, something easily manufactured if you know certain Internet editing tricks.

But Bieber has now deleted his Instagram page. This is the message you see if you try going to it:

Would he really do so if the epic back-and-forth were not legitimate?

Gomez, meanwhile, has not followed suit.

Her Instagram page is still very much alive and well, with its latest two posts being snapshots and references to her ongoing Revival Tour.

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber just don't get along anymore. 

For a while, it seemed like their pairing was something that was always meant to happen. Fans were getting false sense of hope from them because of the amount of times they were pictured together while single. 

Their relationship just wasn't long for this world, so the best thing to do in a situation like that is to move on, but what do singers do before they move on?

They release a string of songs about about their former flame to get their fans talking. It's a neat tactic to get recognition, but it is a bit desperate. 

Both Gomez and Bieber have both revealed some of their tracks are about the troubled relationship. 

Recently, Justin Bieber officially moved on with Sofia Richie, but fans were not impressed in the slightest about this new pairing. 

Justin was quick to post pictures of him with Sofia on Instagram and that was when the fans got involved and started sending a raft of hate Sofia's way. 

Justin then threatened to make his instagram account private. This would no doubt shut down the beliebers, but then Gomez joined in and created a feud that had nothing do with her in the first place. 

“If you can’t handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol. It should be special between you two only. Don’t be mad at your fans. They love you and supported you before anyone ever did.”

That was a bold statement from Selena, but it was met with little fanfare from Justin. 

Things got pretty ugly when Justin claimed Selena used him for attention, but then Selena accused him of cheating on her. 

“I cheated…oh I forgot about You and Zayn?,” Bieber reportedly fired back. 

Accusing Gomez of using him for attention was a low blow and sources close to her were quick to respond to the claims. 

"They're both young and have made mistakes, but she has never used him," says the source.

"He put their relationship out there way more than she ever did, and he's been very strategic about it."

The source even went as far as to say that Justin revels in getting at his former flame whenever things are going well for him. 

"Whenever something good is happening in her life, he'll post something to get at her."

Either way, Gomez has since decided to be the bigger person and end the feud. 

The above snap was posted on Snapchat by Selena. 

She obviously didn't want this thing to drag on for dear life. Neither did Justin, which probably explains why he deactivated his Instagram account.
