Selena Gomez appeared on BBC Radio 1 today in order to make something very clear:

She is NOT singing about how she farts carrots at the outset of “Good for You.”

Selena Gomez: Look at Me!

Host Scott Mills raised this topic when saying a lot of his listeners believe Selena kicks off the track by stating simply “I’m farting carrots,” to which Selena replied:

"Well, wouldn't that just start the tone really sexy? Like, that's what you wanna hear a girl say!

So what is the actual opening line to the single?

"I'm a 14 carat,' which is a 14 carat diamond."

That does make a lot more sense, doesn't it? Kind of like how Selena's good friend Taylor Swift is not singing about Starbucks lovers in "Blank Space."

Gomez, meanwhile, is gearing up for the unveling of her second studio album, which follows the release of 2013's "Stars Dance."

How is she handling the pressure?

"I've been so stressed about everything from the second single to how we're going to present the album," she admits.

So stressed that she feels like she's farting carrots? Okay, no. Probably not.
