Last night, Selena Gomez tweeted about "learning the hard way" and we assumed (along with millions of her fans) that she was finally through with her on-again, off-again relationship with Justin Bieber.
Now it looks as thought that assumption was spot-on, as Selena unfollowed Justin on Instagram today, which is basically the social media equivalent of dumping all his crap on the lawn and changing the locks.
Yes, we can't think of a surer sign that it's officially over, other than, ya know, Selena issuing a statement to that effect. But hey, we'll take what we can get.
We're sure at this point, Selena is realistic enough about her toxic relationship to know that she'll probably get back together with Bieber at some point, so she's unlikely to burn the bridge by dissing him online.
There's still hope, of course, as Selena is friends with a lot of celebrities who hate Bieber, so maybe they'll get together and stage an intervention while she's still in this moment of clarity:
Hopefully at this very moment Taylor Swift is talking some sense into her friend over some homemade cobbler.
Meanwhile, you just know Justin is hanging with Kendall Jenner. A dinner date between the two talentless stars is rumored to be the cause of the latest Selena-Justin split.
It's also evidence that there is no justice in the world, because c'mon...how do girls keep going for this D-bag?
