Selena Gomez does not have a new boyfriend.
Yes, she was spotted out in New York City on Monday night, seemingly getting very close and even more cozy with some dude named Samuel Krost.
As you can see in various photos, Gomez is holding Krost's hand and sitting on Krost's lap.
So it's a logical leap for one to assume Selena has moved way on from Justin Bieber and found a new man, right?
Not exactly, according to Selena herself.
Speaking to E! News on the red carpet of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Tuesday night, Gomez acknowledged that she’s dating "a little bit,” but added:
“I’m definitely single."
That doesn't mean she hasn't gotten to at least first base with Krost, of course.
The singer and the New York University graduate may not be an official item, but they are clearly more than friends.
Heck, Gomez and Krost were both seen heading into the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show after-party last night, not long after Selena performed a couple singles on the famous runway.
Might she just be using Krost to make Bieber jealous and her grand goal is to reconcile with her first true love?
Maybe.
But that doesn't mean she can't be having some naked fun with Krost at the same time.
